I am a massage therapist and since I started the Kettlebell training about four weeks ago, I have never felt so good before. I am much stronger and my body is much firmer. I participate and train for many sports but will focus on weight lifting, surfing, and freediving in this letter. I have seen gains in all of these activities due to Iron Core’s type of kettlebell training.

I’ve been lifting consistently since age nineteen (I’m twenty seven now), had grown bored with it and was in a “maintenance mode”. I have found that Iron Core kettlebell training with it’s focus on core “total body” strength has supplemented my gym weight training greatly and allowed me to make more impressive gains with less time. I have also noticed less joint strain while performing heavy isolation-style lifts that typically strain the shoulder or elbow.

Training at Iron Core has improved my surfing in two ways: I can paddle harder and longer which leads to more waves caught and my overall dynamic movement on the board is more powerful with improved balance and all-over body strength.

Lastly, the intense anaerobic workout of Iron Core has helped to increase my bottom time while breath-hold diving. Every second counts when you dive without tanks, and the training has also strengthened my legs which leads to less fatigue on long surface swims.

Overall, Iron Core training has created gains in and boosted endurance in all of my physical activities while correcting asymmetry inherent in my musculature. It is a valuable training tool and I feel lucky to have this quality of instruction so close by! — Ted Lucier

It is with great honor that I have the opportunity to write a recommendation for Brett Jones, senior kettlebell instructor and personal training instructor.

While attending a kettlebell certification clinic I had the opportunity to watch Brett Jones teach as well as demonstrate techniques in the art of kettlebell lifting. Brett was professional as well as thorough in his presentation and demonstrations. It was obvious that he has put a great deal of time in learning how to present to his various clients. I observed that each student had varying degree of needs and weaknesses and each time Brett patiently address these needs and made necessary corrections as well as evaluations of the students. Brett is a caring and enthusiastic instructor, who respects his clients and students. He demonstrates responsibility by addressing all needs of all individuals who have particular concerns.
