A born entrepreneur, Sarah Lurie has naturally taken her brand of kettlebell training nationwide. In early 2007, she partnered with one of the country's leading fitness euipment manufacturers, GoFit, to create the first line of kettlebells that stock the shelves of major retail stores. Look for Lurie's complete line of kettlebells and kettlebell follow along workout DVD's, Kettlebells the Iron Core Way, in places like Target, Dick's Sporting Goods, Sport Chalet, Big 5, City Sports, Fred Meyer, Academy Sports and many others. Lurie is a certified strength and conditioning coach (CSCS) sanctioned by the National Strength and Conditioning Association and she is a certified Russian Kettlebell Challenge Instructor. Lurie is a Girevoy Sport Competitor and a Candidate for Master of Sports (CMS). CMS is the highest ranking a woman can achieve as a GS competitor. Lurie is nationally recognized as a kettlebell expert and has been featured in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal and Fitness, Oxygen, Women's Health, Reader's Digest and Newsweek Magazines. Lurie earned a B.A. in Economics from the University of Arizona and a Masters in Public Administration from San Diego State University. While an undergrad at Arizona, Lurie founded a non-profit organization entitled "Girlogy." Through Girlogy, Lurie's mission was to empower and encourage underprivileged young women to pursue careers in the traditionally male dominated science and technology fields.
