I moved to San Diego after Hurricane Katrina wiped out my hometown of New Orleans. I was depressed, quickly got out of my workout routine and began to gain weight. My friend  introduced me to kettlebells, and I went to my first class at Iron Core. I had never heard of kettlebells before, and I was curious to see what it was all about. I went to the start me up class 3 ½ years ago and since then I've been hooked! I was beyond intrigued after I saw such amazing results and positive transformations in my body in such short time. This gave me the most amazing boost of confidence. I began to go to class more and more, and decided to get RKC certified to learn more and teach others what I know. Kettlebells have a unique way of combining cardio and strength training while increasing flexibility and working your body as one unit. Within two to four weeks you will see results that will encourage you to continue coming to class to learn more! Each workout routine is different, which keeps the workouts unique and fun.
